The Centre of Competence for Archaeological Collections supports the CH community providing a collaborative space, a software platform and tools for the study of archaeological collections. Through the centre, data, software, experience and expertise generated in are distributed and shared. The current content is the outcome of the GRAVITATE project but the Centre is open to host any content generated that is relevant for the community.

The platform hosts an integrated version of the software components. It consists of a sophisticated search-engine, which allows both semantic and geometric queries, tools for the analysis, visualization and comparison of geometric properties of 3D models, semi-automatic reassembly tools for broken artifacts and different ways to enrich the underlying metadata.
